The end of the off-season is almost here and we could not be more excited. We plan to open for the 2021 season on May 20, 2021. With all of the lockdowns, restrictions and anxiety of the last year, we find we have missed our guests and friends more than ever and look forward to hosting what for many will be the first getaway in a long time. Perhaps a little normalcy for all of us!
Although we are looking forward to a return to more normal times, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our guests and staff remains our top priority. In 2020 we implemented a number of new policies and changes in service at the inn. We are happy to report that these changes were successful and that we had no Covid related issues.
For the 2021 season we do not intend to let up on these precautions and will continue these same policies and the same attention to detail when it comes to cleaning, social distancing and breakfast service this season. A more detailed list can be found under the “Policies” section on our website.
Maine’s health care system has been very aggressive in planning for vaccinations and so far Maine has been one of the most successful states in rolling out it’s vaccination program. Additionally due to our small population and rural setting we have one of the lowest rates of infection in the U.S. and as a result Maine is one of the safest places to visit in the country.
We are taking reservations NOW for the 2021 season and since travel surveys report that 81% of American are expected to start traveling again as soon as they get vaccinated, we expect to be very busy this summer. Book NOW and don’t miss your chance to select your favorite room!
